In 2011 Shakeena earned an Associates' Degree in Computer Networking from Gibbs College.  After receiving her Associates she worked as a Financial Aid Advisor while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

 

Realizing there was something missing in her life she began attending New Hope Baptist Church where she experienced the Love of God.  In 2009 she joined New hope and became part of the Youth and Women's Ministry.  While serving Shakeena realized that helping Children, families, and women were more fulfilling than she could ever imagine.  Wanting to do more for the community and church she became a volunteer for Sexual Assault Survivors.

 Inspired through the Youth and Women's Ministry she enrolled in Luther Rice College and Seminary to pursue her Master's in biblical counseling.  Shakeena serves as M4HG's 

treasurer.
